Russian Art Week: Summer 2020

Russian Art Week Summer 2020

Russian Art Week was launched by RA+C in 2011 and takes place twice a year, in autumn and spring, coinciding with major sales of Russian Art at Sotheby’s, Christie’s, MacDougall’s and Bonhams. It is an exclusive network which covers all the sales as well as Eastern Europe and Russia-related exhibitions and events held in London during the same period. This summer due to COVID-19 pandemic the Russian Art Week has changed its format. The Russian art sales will still take place online and will spread over late spring and summer.

James Butterwick, London art dealer and an expert in Russian art, has reviewed the sales – read his article here. You can also read James article about the first two sales’ results at Sotheby’s and Macdougall’s here.

Russian Art Week is a unique platform for communication among artists, art professionals, collectors, institutions and supporters of Russian Art and Culture who come to London for the sales. RA+C helps you to navigate the London art scene – helping you to bid in the right place at the right time.

We are offering our art consultancy services in helping you identify and bid at the auctions this summer. One of our partners – James Butterwick, London art dealer, specialising in Russian art and often helping auction houses authenticate artworks, can guide you though the sales.

Please get in touch with Natasha Butterwick to discuss this.
