London Art Fair was founded in 1989 by London’s Business Design Centre in Islington – where it still takes place today – with the aim of providing a space to showcase the most exceptional modern and contemporary art , to discover and to buy. It launched with just 36 UK galleries  and has grown steadily over the following years to embrace in 2018 around 130 international galleries.

In 2019 two galleries working with Russian artists will be featured. For the 2019 Art Projects, Abode is bringing together two female artists: Maria Agureeva, a Russian multidisciplinary artist; and Lindsey Bull, a British artist, working primarily in figurative painting.

Another Moscow-based gallery Fragment is coming with the solo presentation of Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov.
