Hattie Naylor’s bleak but moving play ‘Ivan and he Dogs’ – about a little boy who, in desperate times, lives on the streets of Moscow with a pack of dogs – is revived in The Clare studio. This one-person show is directed by Caitriona Shoobridge, the winner of this year’s Genesis Award for early-career directors, and stars the excellent Alex Austin.

‘Hattie Naylor’s writing beautifully conveys the incredible way the boy and dogs connected to each other, and one leaves the theatre feeling disgust for those on two legs, but admiration for those on four.’ The Telegraph
