This year the 6th international contemporary art fair Cosmoscow expanded as never has before.
Bringing together 70 projects from Russia, Europe and Middle East, the space of Gostiny Dvor features already known sections Galleries, Focus and Special Projects alongside the newly added Frame, Design and Edition. While one wouldn’t find works by internationally acclaimed Russian-born artists, such as Ilya Kabakov or AES+F, there are exciting non-commercial projects and affordable paintings, sculptures, prints and design objects. Among exhibitors there are many of those who started their projects in the recent few years. The works and their quality vary with prices starting at 50 euros. Anya Mokhova selected the main highlight of Cosmoscow 2018.
THE.DOT.HOME (Design section)
THE.DOT.HOME is the brand which collaborates with artists creating unique textiles, furnishings and carpets. One of its production sites is Balin Manufacture, a factory with 150 years history located in the heart of the Russian textile capital.
