Russian Art and Culture are delighted to announce the foundation of their art consultancy business with James Butterwick, one of the world’s leading experts on Russian Art. Together with Russian Art and Culture this noted specialist will provide a free-of-charge valuation or authentication service as well as providing access to the leading experts and collectors worldwide.

James has over thirty years of experience both as an expert and as a dealer, is a member of SLAD, CINOA, the Russia-based ICAAD, and has formed private and corporate collections of art of all types, from Monet to Matisse, from Levitan to Larionov. James is the only dealer in Russian Art to take part in the annual TEFAF Art Fair in Maastricht, lectures regularly on Russian Art and has contributed or sold to both Russian and worldwide institutions. James guarantees the authenticity of everything he sells.
