
Peter Lowe
Peter Lowe teaches classes in English Literature at the Bader International Study Centre, East Sussex. He studied at De Montfort University and the University of Durham, writing his PhD thesis on the poetry of T. S. Eliot. His interests are in the culture and history of the early 20th century in Russia and in western Europe, and his book English Journeys: National and Cultural Identity in 1930s and 1940s England was published in 2012. He is currently researching the nature and uses of ‘nostalgia’ in the early Soviet period.
