Emily Couch is a postgraduate student at University College London’s School of Slavonic and East European Studies, specialising in Russian and Ukrainian politics. In 2016, she graduated with BA in English Literature from King’s College London, where she specialised in Russian, and Medieval European, literature. Alongside her undergraduate studies, she worked for The Rose Theatre and The Royal Collection Trust, providing assistance during the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace. Emily is passionate about music and theatre, having studied both Operatic and Musical Theatre performance. She is studying the Russian language, and is fluent in French. She will begin an MA in International Relations at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow, in September 2018.
