Abby Cronin is an independent researcher and London-based arts journalist. She has an MSc from the London School of Economics, a PhD from University College London and lectured in the social sciences for many years at London Metropolitan University. After retiring she took a Museums and Management course at City University. Throughout the past 20 years she has written extensively about exhibitions housed in London’s world-class museums, galleries, auction houses, markets, design venues and fairs. Her publications can be found in the quarterly magazine American in Britain where she writes the Arts and Antiques column, Illustration, Collectors Focus Apollo, and on her website where a full list of her articles can be found. Her interests include membership of the Decorative Arts Society and formerly, the Wallpaper History Society, where she used to edit their website.
