The Unknown Russia project is a unique journey to secret corners of Russia together with famous Russian travellers and photographers Dmitry Chistoprudov and Nikolay Rykov.

Opening event: 11 December at 7pm at The Russian Centre Of Science And Culture in Brussels. During the ceremony the authors will tell more about their works and answer the questions (the conversation will be held in Russian).

 

Dmitry Chistoprudov and Nikolay Rykov are Russian travellers, photographers and bloggers. Despite Dmitry is an automotive designer, and Nikolay is an architect, passion for photography, filmmaking, and travelling brought them together and seems to be their true vocation.

Today Dmitry and Nikolay are famous Russian photographers, producers and participants of a unique photographic project Twelve Months during which they travelled across Russia and former Soviet republics. Dmitry and Nikolay have won several prestigious awards in the field of landscape, architecture photography, and photojournalism. Both Dmitry and Nikolay hold photography classes in Moscow, as well as organize on-site photo-travels in various parts of the country. Their photographs have been exhibited in Russia and Kazakhstan, and repeatedly listed on the almanac The Best of Russia.
