In conjunction with Imagine Moscow: Architecture, Propaganda, Revolution the Design Museum hosts an evening of talks and presentations in collaboration with The Architectural Association School of Architecture and Plakat Platform.

What to expect

To coincide with the exhibition Imagine Moscow: Architecture, Propaganda, Revolution, the Design Museum has collaborated with The Architectural Association School of Architecture and Plakat Platform on an event exploring the architectural legacy of the Russian Avant-Garde.

The evening brings together presentations and debates between architectural historians, design tutors, critics, curators, and notably, students.

Drawing on the unbuilt architectural projects and radical urban ideas framed by the exhibition, the speakers will investigate the impact of this visionary period on current architectural thinking and practice. The event seeks to extend this legacy into the contemporary space of architectural culture, and features a number of architectural provocations – suggesting future projects to emerge from this period.
