Duties And Responsibilities:
The Associate Director reports to the Director and is responsible for daily management of CERES and a variety of ongoing projects.
Specific areas of responsibility include: student recruitment and academic advising; management of certificate programs; curriculum development and management; program administration and evaluation; supervision of outreach and events; alumni relations; grant writing and fundraising; counseling and academic support for fellows and visiting scholars; and oversight of Title VI NRC and FLAS funding from the US Department of Education, including grant reporting.
MA required, PhD preferred, along with three years’ experience in higher education. Area language knowledge is preferred.
