Alexandra Sankova, Director of the Moscow Design Museum recounts how Russian Design has changed since its first steps at the beginning of 1920s to the post-war period as the country rose from the ashes of destruction. Also on the agenda – how exchanges of experience with international organisations, the first of which was the British Council of Design, came to influence the design in the USSR.
